All-New Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Revealed: Design and Features

Hyundai has introduced its new high-performance electric model, the Ioniq 6 N. With 641 horsepower, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, taking driving pleasure to the next level.

Hyundai is continuing its high-performance electric vehicle push with the new Ioniq 6 N. Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, this model takes the brand’s electric performance vehicle ambitions up a notch.

What the Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Offers

The new Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is equipped with a dual-electric motor system that produces 601 horsepower and 740 Nm of torque. These figures can temporarily increase to 641 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque for 10 seconds with the “N Grin Boost” feature. Thanks to the “N Launch Control” system, the car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 258 km/h.

Revamped Chassis and Driving Dynamics

Hyundai has completely redesigned the suspension geometry of the Ioniq 6 N. The new electronically controlled dampers automatically adjust the suspension based on driving conditions. Systems like “N Drift Optimizer” and “N Torque Distribution” promise maximum stability and fun, both on the track and in daily driving.

Performance isn’t just about the engine. The 6 N’s braking system features four-piston calipers at the front and single-piston calipers at the rear. The car comes with 275/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero 5 tires. The widened fenders and the swan-neck rear spoiler also contribute to the car’s aerodynamics while giving it an aggressive look.

A Multisensory Driving Experience

Hyundai aims to enhance the performance experience not just with speed, but with the senses as well. The improved N e-Shift system virtually simulates the feeling of gear changes, while the “N Ambient Shift Light” synchronizes these shifts with the interior ambient lighting for a more immersive experience. The “N Active Sound+” system offers three distinct motor sounds:

  • “Ignition” (Motorsport-inspired)
  • “Evolution” (A nostalgic take on electric vehicles)
  • “Lightspeed” (Futuristic, sci-fi tones)

Hyundai states the Ioniq 6 N has a range of approximately 468 km according to the WLTP standard. However, an official price for the 2026 Ioniq 6 N has not yet been announced. The estimated starting price could be around $60,000. We will learn more details like this closer to the model’s release date.
